Chef Boyare-Virg... BAM!

You may have heard a famous chef use "BAM!" when he kicks up his recipes a notch. But when Virg is in the kitchen, you will also hear: BLAM! CRASH! KERPLOP! and TOOT TOOT! That last one is a mystery. But the cookies are simply amazing. Cookie cutters to Virg are not really a way of keeping all cookies looking consistent, but more of a general guideline to work from. They are a, shall we say, jumping off point to make the cookie shapes of your dreams!

The secret ingredient is my Mommy doing most of the work.

The once and future king

Someday my son, you will rule all that you see before you. Well not the fridge or the washing machine, but everything made of paper-mache. And maybe not this exact land, but something somewhat similar, and quite possibly less elaborate. But first, you must learn to rule with an iron fist and tread with fuzzy bunny slippers. For the people of this land are small and slightly irritable... and invisible... and imaginary. They like their trains slow and their cars fast. Always remember the future is yours for the taking my son, but we also have the gift receipt if you want to return it for something else.

This is the coolest 'thing going in a circle' I've ever seen.

Here comes Santa Claus... Run, everyone run!

So, here's the story as it was explained to Virg. On the night of December 24th, at 2400 hrs, a Mr. Claus will attempt to unlawfully enter the house. He is impervious to fire, and flaunts this by entering the home by way of the fireplace where applicable. He has the power to read your mind through some unknown process. After he has invaded the privacy of your mind, he will judge you. If you've been good, you will get a new toy. If you've been bad... well let's not talk about that. Now sleep tight my son, and don't let the bed bugs bite. Oh, I'll tell you about bed bugs another night.

A new toy you say? And he'll be entering the house here?

Snowmagedon - Maryland '09

"Everyone just stay calm! I've seen this before on a smaller scale. If we just stay very still, this stuff should just go away." Virg is in for another white Christmas. But let me tell you, the news reports here on the east coast cannot be trusted. They were saying "shin deep snow". Hello! This stuff is up to Virg's waist. How's a little man supposed to traverse this treacherous landscape. Good thing Virg like's a challenge.

Must... Get... To... Car... Toy 'R Us is having a sale!

Tis the Season to be Jolly... very very jolly

What do you get when an American soldier in Germany sends a pair of authentic lederhosen and a new German beer glass to friends in America... two very festive fellows. I know what you're thinking, but NO Virg did not drink his first sip of beer from Daddy's new glass. It may be the case that someone's finger accidentally slipped into the glass, and maybe someone sucked an unidentified liquid from his fingers before Daddy could clean his hands, and maybe Virg and Daddy had a good laugh afterwards, but there was definitely no "drinking from the glass". I don't know who is starting these horrible rumors, but that's the Internet for you. Lies! Lies! Lies! (and a shred of truth).

No, no officer, we're fine!
Oh! Check out my leather pants, they are totally leather!

You can't spell Thanksgiving without a bunch of letters.

Sorry Daddy hasn't posted anything in a while. But this isn't a blog for Daddy to complain about his sad little existence outside of his family life. So as an extra bonus for not posting in a while Virg has requested Daddy break the mold and post MULTIPLE PICS! So here you go:

Thanksgiving #2 with the Minnesota Clan.

I couldn't wait to eat the yummy food they made for me!

No time for talking Mommy, there's a lot of mac 'n cheese to eat here.

Oh! Did someone order an extra order of adorably cute?

... stay tuned for the next blog. Virg has some exciting news about the future and why he's going to be getting a new bed a little sooner than he expected.

What are you!?!?!

... "I'm Bat-Virg!"

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to take off the silly costumes and get back to everyday life. For Virg, everyday life includes fighting crime and other super human stuff.

BIFF! - "Yes, that was a nice lamp, wasn't it."
BOFF! - "I agree, the food does look a little odd hanging from the ceiling."
ZRONK! - "No, I wasn't aware a glass full of milk could be thrown that far across the room."

Action is Virg's middle name. Currently, Daddy's middle name is "What the?" and "How did that?" and "That's not even possible, is it?!"

Don't be afraid Mommy, I was born to be a super hero!

Twas the morning after Halloween...

...and all through the house. Not a creature was stirring, not even the great pumpkin king. What a night! There was soooo much work to do as the pumpkin king. Virg had to supervise Daddy carve 4 pumpkins, he had to hand out treats to other kids, and judge all the costumes.

Winner: Bright florescent green fairy princess whose parents dressed up like characters from the movie Tron.
Looser: Guy with 5 o'clock shadow holding a pillow case.

And what super awesome candy can you expect from the pumpkin king? Dum Dum Pops of course... two of them! Remember to collect the wrappers for cool prizes, like a Frisbee, a mouse pad, or a lunch sack. And who wouldn't want a barely functional pair of binoculars with a picture of the dum dum drum man on it?

While visions of Dum Dum swag danced in his head... mmmm beach towel

Help Wanted

In this tough economy, you take work where you can find it. Daddy took losing his job pretty hard, but then he came across a local job posting for a 'Man servant' that looked promising. The job description was very short and straight forward: "Do whatever The Virg wants you to do!" For example: say you are eating some yogurt and Virg comes over, crawls up on your lap, lays down, and points at your spoon. What is the correct response? That's right, your food now belongs to Virg, and it's your responsibility to feed it to him. Now you may think Daddy could get a higher paying job (more then $0.00/hour), but really, this is the best job he'll ever have and he knows it.

I'm going to need you to work late into the evenings and through the weekends.

The circle of life

It's that time of year again when the salmon return home from the ocean and swim up stream to spawn. Virg went out to Flaming Geyser State Park to check things out. Most of the salmon were on the other side of the river. So Daddy rolled up his pant legs, picked up Virg and tried to forge the river to give Virg a better view. But the bright light reflecting off Daddy's pasty white legs seemed to spook the fish... and the other wildlife... and the other guests of the park.

That's odd Daddy, it looks like they've decided to go back to the ocean.

DJ Jazzy Virg

Sometimes Daddy accidentally writes a song, and sometimes he accidentally records it. That's where Virg comes in and puts on his producer hat. If you hear a great song on the radio, it probably comes from a talented musician. But sometimes you hear a terrible song, but for some reason you like to sing along anyway and can't get it out of your head. In that case, you've found a talented music producer. Virg is good, but most of the time he has to gently break it to Daddy that his songs need a little more work.

Daddy, this song is only missing one thing... talent.

Pretend pistols at 10 paces

Virg is just starting to walk. It was last Wednesday when he stood on his own two feet and took a couple of steps towards the object of his desire. No, it wasn't Mommy or Daddy, it was a ukulele. How cool is that!! But apparently our cat Olive doesn't think we should be so impressed with Virg. I mean, she can move from point A to point B just as well without walking on two legs. Does Virg think that moving around on all fours is too good for him? He thinks he's got to be better than the cat? While we were all outside the other day, Olive gave Virg the feline equivalent of a white glove slap to the face: a tail swish to the head. The duel was on! But Virg couldn't quite walk a full 10 paces, and Olive got distracted by a moth. So I guess it was a draw.

Daddy, I think Olive just wants a pet, not a duel.

Story time with the Elder

Story time with Daddy is OK. Virg does a good job of putting up with Daddy's interpretations and hidden meanings in the sub-text. But Grandpa has information that Virg can build on. When Grandpa reads a book to Virg, he gets useful information. Like "These are eyes. You have eyes too." and "These are hands. You have hands and fingers too." That makes a lot more sense than when Daddy reads the same book and says things like "These eyes represent the oppressive underground corporate machine that is always watching you. Be careful my son."

This book is so much less stressful when you read it, Grandpa.

Wazz Up!!!

There are a lot of people in the world that make you say "Now, that's a party person." But there are only a select few that make you say "Wow, there is a person who I want to party with all the time!" It is very apparent now that Virg has a style all his own, and he doesn't let the current trends and fashions hinder his inner party animal. To call Virg a free spirit is like calling the ocean a little damp. Just throw on some rocking unsigned artist like 'Dandelion Junk Queens', 'Jonathan Coulton', 'Pomplamoose', or 'Huxley Vertical Cabaret Nouveau' and watch Virg cut up the dance floor. Kinda like Ren McCormack. Hey! You know he was cool, so don't pretend like he wasn't.

I party so hard I blow my own socks off!!

The fruits of our labor.

Global warming, economic depression, political unrest and a world in turmoil. Bring it on! We've got a garden, and it's providing us with a bumper crop this season. Just look at what we have to show for our first harvest. Two... That's right TWO cherry tomatoes. And soon after this picture was taken we had a small amount of tomato sauce. Tomorrow, I'm going to cook up like ten spaghetti noodles and we'll eat like kings... very very small kings.

Trust me Mommy, if you smash them all over the plate
it will look like you have more.

Wet and wild... but very very safe.

Like a fish out of water, who is then placed back into the water, Virg seems to be a natural born swimmer. It's probably because he's living so close to the Pacific Ocean, or maybe it's that Daddy is always talking about getting a sailboat, or maybe it's the fact that Mommy gives Virg a bath like every single night. Whatever the reason, Virg loves to be in the water kicking his legs and splashing the water with his arms. Whether it's in the bath tub, in the pool, or even just in a small glass of water.

Here we see Virg trying to escape from what
appears to be an albino manatee.

The Stair Master - to infinity and beyond!

At the end of the day, when you've put in a full day of work for an ungrateful employer, with a constant threat of losing your job in the current economy, just remember... you can walk up stairs. Virg is just now experiencing this wondrous adventure. Much like Neil Armstrong, Virg is looking to the heavens and going to a place that was once completely inaccessible. And while it was one small step for Neil, Virg has 11 stairs. Each stair is almost half his size. Daddy would need at least a full case of Pabst waiting at the top to venture on a trek like that. As you can see, I gave up a little less than halfway up the stairs. Virg came back to report there was not even a single can of Pabst.

I hope we don't have a run in with hostel alien life forms.

Happy Birthday Virg!

Well, today Virg turned the big '0' '1'. And he was sooooo happy... for the most part. At least he was happy after everyone stopped singing. Next year we'll have to get a professional choir to sing for Virg. We started singing, and Virg had BIG smile on his face. He was thinking: "this is so nice, and they are probably just warming up and getting into the correct pitch." But then he realized we were not warming up, we were actually going to continue singing our sad and scary attempt at Happy Birthday. That's when Virg turned that smile upside down. So we stopped singing and gave him cake. The sugar rush helped take the edge off.

Please stop trying to sing a happy song to me!

Virg the horse whisperer

Actually, whispering is one of the things Virg is not doing right now. Virg has reached two new milestones. He's standing (woo hoo!), and he's finding his voice. I'm positive he's already found it, but Virg is still searching. Some people may ask "Why is your baby screaming?" I then have to politely correct them and say "Virg does not scream, he screeches. There's a difference." A scream is associated with something that makes Virg upset. A screech is just his way of saying "AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Can you here me now?

Everyone loves a good book

Lately Virg has really been into reading the "Bedtime Peekaboo!" book and "Animals in the Country" book. Daddy tries to read with inflection and feeling, but Virg usually has to give him pointers. "No, no Daddy! Read this line over again, and this time make me believe you are a squirrel with a big fluffy tail!" One of these days Daddy will get it right, but until then Virg is in control of what page we are on and when we can turn the page. "Oh, did you think we were done with that page? I think not! Let's start at the beginning."

When I signal you, then you can say "Peekaboo," but not before.

Happy Daddy Day (or "D"-day)

Mommy has taken over the blog for once to say a few things in recognition of Father's Day. It was hard to get Daddy off the computer long enough to compose this blog entry, but Mommy insisted. So Daddy agreed and is milling about until it's posted.

Time flies when you're the daddy of a newborn. It's hard to believe that Daddy is already pushing the one year mark in his new role. He seems to be hitting his stride at this point, with a lot of help from Coach Virg. Important note, all those books Daddy received at the baby shower about everything a daddy needs to know during the first year, the do's and don'ts of basic baby care, baby boot camp, and how to keep baby alive while mommy is out seem to have paid off is spades. Thanks to all of you who contributed.

As the mommy reflects on the subject, a few telling facts come to mind:

  1. "Daddy" was Virg's 2nd word.

  2. Virg's 1st word was "hi."

  3. Virg's 3rd word was "uh oh!"

What does this tell us? You be the judge.

Day 1 - Hello there, Big Guy. What's going on here and who put you in charge!

Month 2 - You're getting it Daddy, but don't get too cocky! I'm watching you...

Month 10 - Sweet!! This is more like it.

Farmer Virg

President Obama has brought back the 'Victory Garden' to the white house lawn. Grown totally organic with local school children getting an opportunity to help with the gardening. We must follow in our president's footsteps and put our child to work in the garden as well. Virg is growing his family some squash, tomatoes, zucchini, and a bunch of wild flowers. An excellent side benefit is that when society collapses, we'll have food. All we need now is a small cache of weapons and we could be a militia. A family that is paranoid together, stays together.

Vegetables grown with love
(and a hint of societal collapse paranoia)

Sign of the Virg

So, apparently Virg has been learning sign language at day care. He just had a conversation with me at breakfast. First he screamed really really loud. I said to him in a quiet voice, "Virg, it's time to talk softly". To which Virg signed, "No". But what he really meant was. "No Daddy, you are mistaken. This is not the time to talk softly." He can also sign for 'more', 'milk', 'yes', 'up', and 'potty'. Unfortunately, Daddy does not know all of these signs. So now whenever Virg makes any hand movement Daddy turns to Mommy and says - "What does that mean? Is he talking to me?"

Signing at the speed of light.

Memorial Day Hike

Tiger Mountain. There are more trees up there then you can shake a stick at, and there's no shortage of shaking sticks either. In fact, you'll probably need two shaking sticks and use both hands for the amount of stick shaking required to adequately 'shake stick' at the trees on Tiger Mountain. I think we got pretty comprehensive coverage with Mommy, Daddy, and Virg shaking sticks, but, just like the Louvre in Paris, you can't get to all of it in one day.

So many trees, so little time.

Virg - The duck hunter

Crikey! Be very still. It's hard to see from this distance, but just over Virg's shoulder is a wild mother duck with duckling. Ain't she a beaut! Mommy says duckling are the cuties baby animal in the universe (other then Virg). I'm not a nature expert, but I think wild ducks have been known to grab grown men at the waters edge and drag them to a watery doom clutched in their ferocious beaks. Blimey! That can't be good. Let's poke them with a stick!

Look at that gorgeous Sheila with her ankle biters in the billabong!

Licence to crawl

Guess who's mobile? That's right, and now Virg is too. He started crawling yesterday in an effort to get closer to Dalton dog. Now he's crawling all over the place finding toys and non-toys galore. I know what your saying, "Oh great! Now the Daddy is going to put Virg on the bed and say to the Mommy 'Well, I better take the garbage out.' And walk away thinking the Mommy has Virg. And the Mommy, just before picking up Virg, bends down to pick up a copy of 'Middlemarch' that she's been reading to Virg to get him to go to sleep. And while both parents have their eyes off Virg, he crawls off the bed and dives head first onto the floor. Then the Mommy and Daddy rush Virg to the urgent care at 9:15 PM to make sure they didn't give Virg a concussion." Well, shut up! THAT didn't happen. The book was 'Anne of Green Gables'.

I see you Dalton!
Your days of laying just out of reach are over!

Rub A Dub Dub - It's Virg in the tub.

They say cleanliness is next to Godliness. I looked it up and that's actually not true. Go-cart and gofers are next to Godliness in the dictionary I have. Virg likes bath time, especially now that he has his pirate rubber ducky. There used to be other rubber ducks, but one by one they disappeared without any explication. Strange stuff.

Cheeky monkey! Where you trying to look at my bum?

A boy and his dog

Virg has been sick this past week. He even had a temperature up to 104 on Tuesday night. In addition to the temperature he's also teething and has a runny nose. All in all, this has probably been the hardest week of his life. But he's on medication now and is starting to come out of it. The hardest for the Mommy and Daddy was not seeing Virg smile or laugh. But on Wednesday night, Dalton was able to get Virg to relax and smile and giggle for a little while.

Here we see Dalton trying to give Daddy a few pointers.

Happy Mothers Day!

This goes out to all the mothers out there, and I think you know who you are. But mostly, this goes out to the mother of SpiderVirg (SpiderMom), Chico Froggy (Momma Sita), Virg the Knife (Momma Calzone), Virg-a-saurus (Mrs. Ichthyosaur), Cutius-maximus (Octavianus Mommyus Augustus the IV) and of course little old Virg (Super Mommy).

My Mommy has that 'je ne sais quoi'.
Ah, Je t'aime!

The Amazing SpiderVirg

Look! On the wall! It's a baby! It's a spider!
It's SpiderVirg!!!

SpiderVirg, SpiderVirg
Does whatever a SpiderVirg does
Can he swing from a thread?
No, he can't. Mom says it's dangerous.
Hey there! There goes the SpiderVirg

Is he strong? Listen bud
He's got radioactive blood
Actually, that's not good
We should probably see a doctor about that
LookOut! He's got radioactive blood

In the chill of night
We turn up the heat
And don't flush the toilet
You might wake him up

SpiderVirg, SpiderVirg
Friendly neighborhood SpiderVig
Is he part spider and part baby
No he's not, that's geneticlly impossible
What the duce! I'm singing 'bout SpiderVirg

Verse: Em Am Em B7 Em
Bridge: D7 G B7 G D7 G C6 B7

Primitive living skills

Surviving in the harsh outdoors of the Pacific Northwest can test even the most experienced survivalist. But for Virg it was a walk in the park, or more like a nap in the back yard. Virg is so at one with his surroundings that he wasn't even stirred when a ferocious jungle cat invaded his tent. Her name was Olive.

Why does my tent smell like tuna all of the sudden?

Welcome to your worst nightmare

Joy! Virg went to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium for the first time. Virg thought the fish in the big tank were super fun to watch. The whale and penguins were good for a laugh as well. But the part of the visit that the Daddy will never forget was the 'See what it would be like if your wife and child were being eaten by a hugenormous shark' exhibit. Once the zookeepers talk you down from your hysterical tantrum and the security guard escorts you back to your car, you'll have a fun image to haunt your dreams for years to come.

It's OK Daddy. The stationary painted plywood won't eat me.

Little boy heaven

While visiting his great grandma, Virg discovered a mythical place many boys hear stories about, but few have ever seen with their own eyes. It's more of a state of being than a physical location, but Virg found it and he was loving every second. The directions are a bit sketchy, but basically you'll need both the grandma and the great grandma within arms reach, a comfortable lap to sit on, and charming look on your face that says - 'Tell me again how much you love me.'

Warning: This only works if you are a small boy or girl. If you are a grown man the result is, how should I put this... less good.

Look! Virg is being spoiled in stereo.

Virg's first Easter

Over the river and through the woods to Great Grandmother's house we go. And even with all of our evasive maneuvering, the Easter Bunny was still able to track down the Virg and leave his little bunny droppings. Yup, Virg got his very first Easter basket. It had a little fuzzy tailed bunny, two little trucks, and Easter eggs filled with Virg's favorite treat... Cheerios!

Silly Rabbit. Plastic colored eggs filled with treats representing the resurrection of our Saviour Jesus Christ are for kids!

Team Pabst - A farewell to (Bud's) arms

Major Bud is needed in a far away land, and so Virg will be missing him until the Mommy and Daddy can muster up the funds to ship us all over to the land of schnitzel and lederhosen. Maybe next year Virg will be able to visit. We've heard there is a big 'To-Do' in October over there. The evening was very enjoyable, and Virg was flirting up a storm with the waitress.

Excuse me Miss, I'm not done charming your socks off.

MS Walk 2009

Today was the big day! Virg would like to send out a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped him raise $200 to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. This morning Virg met up with some of the other wild and crazy members of the Roosevelt Icy Beverage Society (RIBS) and started the arduous 4 mile trek. The walk started at Husky Stadium and went to Gas Works Park and then back. Virg even got to see his Team Captain - Hooray Tina! Virg could have done the whole walk, but Daddy pooped out half way. Time to put Daddy on a training program for next year.

Check out the awesome results at http://main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/The_Virg

Get ready to feel the burn baby!

Larger than life

Sure Virg is cute, but some people would make the argument that most things, when they are small, are cute. A small dog, a small cat, a small shot of Chivas Regal Royal Salute, 50 Year Old whiskey. But what if Virg were bigger than you? How about as big as a house? Would you still think he was cute as he was reaching down to pick you up and stick you in his mouth? I think that the cuteness of Virg transcends size. Sure you would be terrified for your life, but instead of screaming "AAAAARRRRRGGGG", you would be saying "awwwww, he's sooo cu ..."

GET IN MY BELLY!

Our little tax credit.

Is it wrong to put a price on a child? OK - but if YOU didn't set that price, is it wrong to accept that price for a child? OK - but if you accepted the money with the intention of saving it for the child's college education? That's what I thought, but I'm taking the money anyways. If money is the root of all evil, I bet it tastes just like a parsnip. Who in their right mind would turn down a parsnip? And more importantly, if money is the root of all evil, what is the leafy green of all evil? I'll bet it's Arugula!

You're a little short Daddy.
I better not find another receipt for a new ukulele!

A family that eats together...

A wise man once sang - "Traditiooooooon, tradition..... Tradition!". He also danced a cool little dance, but that's beside the point. This past Monday was Virg's Great Grandpa's birthday. So the Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, and Grandpa all got together to raise a glass in his honor. As we can see, Virg had taken the traditional spot of his namesake at the head of the table.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREAT GRANDPA!
Hey - where's the steak?

Kiss me - I'm Irish

Well... mostly Norwegian, but the cool thing about Norwegians is that if you put green cloths on them, they think they're Irish. As we can see from this photo, Virg is wearing his green Irish clover socks and Irish drool bib. From what I've heard, this is very common attire for a good Irish party. You may be asking why he isn't wearing more clothing than just his socks, a bib and underwear. All I can say to that is that it's truly amazing how fast a son will imitate his father.
Kiss me I'm Irish??
When will you stop trying to justify your attraction to me?

Virgapalooza

On Sunday, Virg got his very own piano. Daddy is a sucker for small musical instruments. This is actually a very cool mini piano made by Schoenhut. According to their web site their piano's are "famous for their excellent quality and unique chime-like tones." Virg gave a great concert. He has a good rapport with the fans. He'll open with a funny monologue, play his hits, tell a few jokes, and ends with a big finally that leave the crowd screaming for more.

This is kind of a big video, and I'm not sure how well this is going to work on the blog, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

Valentines - Behind the scenes

First of all - it's not blood. He's not a zombie baby. And shame on you for thinking such things. He's just an innocent little baby boy (mmmm... brains). By now, all of you should have received the personalized home made valentines from Virg. But did you also know that a select few of these valentines were hand painted by Virg? Red finger paint is the current medium of choice for the artist formerly (and currently) know as The Virg. I was able to witness Virg at work in his home studio (AKA our hallway bathroom), and I can guarantee that Virg gives each piece of art his utmost attention and emotional gusto. If you did not acquire one of these rare (and eventually priceless) works of art, fear not! Now that Virg has mastered the color red, he's planning on including even more colors in his next artistic happening.

It's ART! You wouldn't understand...

Won't you BEE mine

OK - This will have to be the last Valentine's Day themed post. V-Day is over, and Daddy's having a hard time coming up with new ideas that are centered around valentines. When in doubt... go with the bee costume. It's probably safe to say that Daddy is obsessed with bees. Virg will grow up with Orchard Mason bees and Bumble Bees flying all over the back yard. Daddy (with the help of his bee loving nephew) even convinced Grandma to host a bubble bee house in her garden. Whoo Hoo!! And what could symbolise love more then a cute and fuzzy bug that works with flowers all day long.

I'm the King Bee - Gimme some sugar, baby.

The Virg of Valentines day

Virg wants everyone to have happy Valentines day. So here are a few classic pickup lines that the Daddy has passed on to Virg. These are Virg certified and should not be underestimated. They will make that beutiful person across the room fall madly in love with you, or reignite the passion of an existing relationship.
  • This must be heaven, because I'm looking at an angel.
  • Besides being drop dead gorgeous, what do you do for a living?
  • I lost my phone number. Could I borrow yours?
  • Here I am! What were your other two wishes?
  • Was that an earthquake, or did you just rock my world?
And the ones Daddy used to win Mommy's heart.
  • You make me hotter than sulfur hydroxide mixed with ethyl acetate.
  • My love for you is a monotonically increasing unbounded function.
  • You must be gravity, baby, because you’re the only thing keeping me here.
  • Does this rag smell like chloroform to you?
Careful you don't break my heart.

Ah - to be in Paris and in Love

To make this a truly romantic blog entry, Virg traveled all the way to Paris to soak up the Love and rub elbows with the crustiest of the upper crust French populous. Maybe you didn't know, but Virg is real big in France. I mean just look at this photo. He's only 7 months old and already half as tall as the Eiffel Tower. Of course, with the economy being the way it is, and the need to use imaginary numbers to balance our checkbook, we couldn't afford a plane ticket to Paris. Instead, we just used a poster of the Eiffel Tower. But don't worry, that's a real fake rose he's smelling. To see another super authentic photo of Virg's exciting trip to Paris, be sure to follow this link and visit his new MS page.

A rose by any other name, would still smell just as...
wait this has no smell.
